Susan is an artist who is excited and passionate about science inspired art and drawing as an art form.  Her lines of enquiry are approached with an innate scientific curiosity and the natural world serves as inspiration.  She is particularly interested in strange and alien forms found in unseen worlds and landscapes, in both the microscopic and macroscopic. 

Previous funded projects have included exploring the beauty of pollen grains and the malevolence of their effects on our respiratory system; an investigation into the science of kindness, exploring how kindness effects our brain chemistry in a positive way; an art-science investigation into plants as ink and how wavelengths of natural colour uplift our moods and emotions.
