open studios &
Birthday celebrations

Saturday 16th November

4.00 - 6.00pm (no booking required, just come along!)

To celebrate Eagle Works 40th anniversary, studio artists are opening their doors for an Open Studios event, inviting visitors to take a look around the building and meet the artists who call it home. This is a great opportunity to meet and chat with practicing artists, make new connections or pick up a print or book to take home. There will be light refreshments and birthday cake to celebrate!

In the project space will be a presentation of a new commission and research by interdisciplinary artist and social worker Marley Starskey Butler whose current research is exploring the tensions between hostile architecture and creative play in the landscape of the city. Find out more about this commission here.

The following artists currently have studio dwellings within Eagle Works:

Stephen Andrews, Susan Brisco, Sarah Byrne, David Humphreys, Ed Kemshell, Laura Onions, Ethan Milovsorov, Tom Morgan, Simon Harris, Lisa Roffey, Rachel Shakespeare, Rupert Smithson, Rosemary Terry, James Townsend, Shannon Ward, Sarah Zacharek.

Eagle Works is located on the roof of the Mander Shopping Centre in Wolverhampton. Easiest access is through the Victoria Street entrance to the Mander Centre where you will find a lift on the right next to the YMCA shop. Take the lift to the top floor which brings you right out to the Eagle Works entrance.
