Through our Dwelling Programme we had the exciting opportunity to partner with Sandwell based community arts organisation Multistory to host events for local artists and audiences in Wolverhampton and wider Black Country. In light of our shared ambitions to provide points for connection beyond a physical studio, we hosted events together that encouraged personal development for artists and creatives in the region.

About multistory & BCN

Multistory is a community arts organisation that has been based in the borough of Sandwell since 2006, and the people and place shape our work. They work with a wide range of communities, creatives and partners to reimagine the local area, platform under-represented voices and inspire creativity and social change. Their programme of participatory arts projects, workshops, talks and events takes place in libraries, community centres and indoor and outdoor public spaces.

The Blast Creative Network (BCN) artist development programme offers artists in Sandwell and the wider Black Country a free annual programme of talks, workshops and social events and is a space for mutual support and knowledge sharing. It was set up to provide artists in the local area opportunities for critical engagement and collaboration outside of formal arts education.
